New healthcare insurance positions continue to be created around the country, including openings from Florida to Arizona.

AmeriHealth Caritas, a national healthcare company that serves nearly 5 million government aid recipients, recently announced a new job operations center with as many as 400 potential positions will open in the Jacksonville, Florida area early in 2014, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record. By the spring, the company will be fully operational.

Positions the company will be looking to fill include claims examiners, customer service representatives, claims supervisors and representatives and research analysts, among others.

All the way across the country, northern Phoenix, Arizona will also see 400 new insurance employees, thanks to a new hiring initiative from Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance. The company plans to add the positions in customer and technical support and underwriting, as well as sales, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. This will be the company's first major opening outside of New England and will be located in a former call center near a variety of other back-office and business operations centers.
