Newtek Business Services, a New York small business lender, is investing in its workforce to enhance its operations. The lending services company is doubling its office size and plans to add new staff members over the next two years to expand its reach.
"We believe there is ample talent and experience in areas of loan origination, loan assembly, underwriting and loan closing," business CEO Barry Sloane said. "We will be hiring talented professionals to join our organization in the near future."
Lenders help many entrepreneurs launch new firms, and new opportunities could become available to small business operators thanks to government investments.
In Denver, the city's Business Investment Fund has brought new jobs to the local economy and sparked interest in the development of world-class companies. According to The Denver Post, the fund has helped create 1,638 jobs and $6 million in profits for the city over the past five years.
Additionally, business expansions could continue across Denver and bring more opportunities to local job seekers. Professionals could explore employment with new firms or develop their own businesses that could receive extra financial support from the local government.
