LoginInsurance hiring is on the rise across the country, with companies including Progressive and Answer Financial looking to add almost 1,000 employees overall.
Progressive announced plans to hire 900 new employees nationwide for a wide variety of positions including call center, claims, IT and legal positions, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. At least 100 workers will be added in Cleveland, Austin and Tampa, with another 30 in Phoenix. Additional positions will be expected in New York, New Jersey, Colorado and California.
Positions at the company range in pay – call center jobs average $13 to $15 per hour, while claims positions see yearly pay in a range of $39,000 to $45,000.
At the same time, Answer Financial, located in West Knoxville, Tennessee, plans to hire 50 members in their Knoxville location and 15 in their Chattanooga position by the end of the year, according to a press release. The company deals with auto and home insurance and recently relocated its main Tennessee office to West Knoxville.
Further expansion is expected by the company, which works with consumers to find the best possible insurance plan for their specific needs.
